WE ARE DONE WITH BOTTLES |
I was afraid that it would be really hard to get him off of bottles since he was so attached to them, but it really wasn't. He hasn't even acted like he misses them. At first he was hesitant on drinking whole milk but I think that was because he was used to warm bottles and the milk is cold. It doesn't seem to bother him anymore, that and the fact that we switched him to 2% instead of whole. He drinks it just fine with his meals. We still haven't given him juice yet. We are in no hurry to do that. He loves water so we will stick with milk and water for now. He is also now on a more regular schedule, the same as the other kids at daycare...morning snack 9, lunch 12, afternoon snack 3. He got so many great new toys for Christmas and his birthday, but his new favorite toy to play with are his blocks.
He loves these! Connor also has 3 teeth and 1 more almost here. He is still a great sleeper and super easy to put down to bed! He likes his sleep! Oh and this morning he walked 2 steps towards me...that's right 2! It won't be long and he will be walking all over the place by himself! Kinda sad for me though in a way, my baby isn't a little baby anymore. Connor can also wave bye-bye and he still loves to clap. Anytime he hears music he will start bouncing and clapping. He gives the best kisses, or what he say is "kiss kiss" ! We just ask for a kiss kiss and he opens his mouth to give us one, melts my heart every time. He can say a few more little sounds other than mama and dada but nothing that sounds close to a real word yet, but he "talks" all the time now. I wish I knew what he was trying to say because he has a lot to say =)
