Connor's Kicking

This weekend was also another milestone for us. For the first time, I felt baby Connor kick outside of my stomach! Clay got to feel it too! It's the neatest, most wonderful feeling ever to feel this little baby inside you move around and kick. I just can't stop smiling =) I also just started my 6th month this weekend, I'm getting closer!! I go to the doctor this week and I'll be tested for gestational diabetes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have it. I'm excited to go back to the doctor because that means I get another ultrasound done and I'll be able to see Connor moving around and see how much bigger he's gotten in the past month. My only complaint that I have to talk to the doctor about is some pain I get in my lower abdomen when I lay down at night. I have learned that its round ligament pain, but it HURTS! And it only hurts at night! I wake up in pain from it. But I'm not complaining since this is the first real issue I've had in all 6 months so far!

Connor's Crib

We got the crib, nightstand, and dresser in this week. Clay (with the help of my dad and brother)put the crib together this weekend and it looks great! I absolutely LOVE our baby furniture we picked out! It's so pretty. I'll be posting lots more pictures soon of the crib put completely together with the bedding and everything.

Update

I just can't say enough about how great Clay's been throughout my pregnancy so far! He is just as excited about everything as I am. He rubs my belly and talks to Connor every single night, its the cutest thing.

I love feeling Connor move around and kick and squirm. His kicks are still little flutters, not jabs yet. He always seems to move around when I need a good pick me up at work or in the mornings or late in the afternoons. It always brightens my day and puts a smile on my face!

I went to my first ever football game pregnant and let me tell you, even though I had a great time, its not near as fun going when your pregnant as when your not!! I have never been more exhausted in my entire life! I was completely wore down. After all the walking and standing and cheering, by the time we got back to our room and I took off my shoes, my feet and ankles were so swollen! My feet have never swelled before either. I was just miserable! But, I did have a great time and I'm glad I went.
