8 Months

My little Connor is now 8 months old! It doesn't seem like he can already be that old. He is growing up so fast and everyday is trying something new. He is on the verge of crawling, but he's not there yet. He tries, he really tries! He will lean and get on all fours and just when you think he is actually going to do it, he flops down like a pancake and just rolls over. He loves to "talk" but I have yet to hear anything that resembles the sounds of mama, its always dada. He loves to play in the floor and giggle with you and his laugh is the most adorable sound. He has just about out grown his carrier now, he tried to get out of it (and almost did this weekend) so I think its time for him to actually sit in the buggy from now on. He has outgrown a ton of clothes again. He is wearing 6-9 months in everything except pajamas, he is already wearing 12 months in those. He still does great going down at night and almost always will sleep through the night. He still hasn't had a tooth pop out yet, but it will be any day. He gets baby food once a day and loves it. He has yet to not like something and yes he even loves to eat prunes! He gets 6 1/2 - 7 oz of formula at night before bedtime and first feeding in the morning, and 6 ounces throughout the rest of the day. He loves to eat! He still loves to watch and hear the music from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He is learning to repeat an action or whatever he just did when we clap for him and say "yea Connor". For example, he has this one toy where you drop the balls in this giraffe's head or arms and the giraffe makes noises. When he finally started to actually pick up the balls himself and drop them in, we would clap and smile and make him know we saw him. Now when he does it, if we don't immediately clap and carry on, he looks around for us and waits for us to do that before he will do it again. It's really cute and shows he is super smart! I love to watch him learn new things.

I know how to start
I can even push myself up
But then I fall
