Tuscaloosa Tornado - April 27, 2011
These pictures are heart breaking and the sad part is that it doesn't even compare to seeing it in person! We are so fortunate to have no damage to our house or to any family members. Connor knew something was going on, he just didn't know what, but when he gets older and looks back at these pictures he will see how blessed he was. The latest numbers I heard were over 30 dead in Tuscaloosa and around 130 statewide! Thank you God for protecting us! My thoughts and prayers go out to so many who have lost loved ones, lost homes, are without power or who are still trying to get in touch with people.
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Connor Update
It's been a while since I've done a "what's Connor up to?" type post, so here we are:
Weight: 24 lbs
Height: 30.5"
-He runs like the wind. EVERYWHERE.
-He is a great eater, though he seems to be getting a lil pickier. His faves are bananas, oatmeal, baby goldfish, any bread, any soup, cheerios, and almost anything we are eating.
-He still cannot have juice, only milk and water.
-He's so tall, and his ability to reach things is getting him in trouble! He is starting to be able to touch door knobs too! EEK!
-He can go up and down stairs holding hands. Too cute!
-He loves to be outside.

-He loves wearing socks and shoes!
-He is very observant and smart.
-His new best friend is his sock monkey. He drags it around everywhere.
-He loves to talk. He says a handful of words, including "mama", "dada", "bye-bye", "uh oh", "num num", "hey", and a few others.
-He is the BEST sleeper! He loves to go to sleep! You can ask him if he is ready for night-night in his crib and he will reach out his arms letting you know he is ready! Adorable!

-He loves to give kisses and they are the best kisses ever, even when they are just a big tongue lick!
-Besides a little runny nose or cough, he has been lucky enough not to have ever gotten real sick. He’s had pink eye once, and that’s been about it.
-He is most definitely a mommy’s boy!
Happy 15 months baby boy! You bring the biggest joy to our life, and the past 15 months have been the best! We love you!
